Welcome to Snow Factor Braehead, Scotland’s only indoor snow resort.
We are home to the UK's longest indoor Real Snow slope: 168m long x 36m wide with a dedicated nursery slope which cost £32m to build.

We are open 363 days a year and we house over 1500 tonnes of snow on our dedicated slope within Xscape: The Ultimate Entertainment Destination at Braehead, Glasgow.
We are Scotland’s leading centre for indoor ski and snowboard instructing PLUS we offer heaps of other activities including sledging.

Based at Junction 26 (eastbound) of Glasgow's M8 motorway, a new motorway junction (25a) provides dedicated westbound access roads direct to the shopping centre whilst the new eastern link road connects the A8 dual carriageway.

We recommend pre-booking for all our activities as everything is subject to availability and limited capacities. All hardware (skis, poles, snowboards, ski and board boots, helmets and sledges) are provided FREE. You are welcome to use your own ski or snowboard kit but unfortunately you are not permitted to use your own sledge for your own safety. You need to wear warm waterproof clothing including gloves. Wellingtons are recommended for sledging activities. An outfit of jacket and salopettes costs from £5.50 to hire, Wellies from £3. Gloves cannot be hired for hygiene reasons but can be purchased on site.
